Uber has been using Cassandra for more than five years now. At Uber, we run Cassandra at scale with thousands of nodes, millions of QPS, and petabytes of data. We have internally modified Cassandra to meet the Uber ecosystem and identify problems at scale. In this talk, we would like to cover the following: 1. How do we use Cassandra within Uber? 2. Real-time anti-pattern detection framework within Cassandra (https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CASSANDRA-14527) 3. Automatic repair within Cassandra itself is the same as compaction 4. Seamless application failover from one Cassandra region to another 5. Cassandra's latest 3.x version upgrade learnings
